GF1 Provides Finishing Touch on Marina Gardens Townhouse

Jerry Sheehan owner of GF1 and one of the founders of One Day Floors resurfaced the garage floor of this Marina Gardens Townhouse in Palm Beach Gardens Florida.

GF1 specializes in concrete resurfacing using One Day Floors “Pure Bred” polaspartics in the Palm Beach, Broward and Dade County markets. The decorative color chip application Jerry used is Terrazzo, a blend of red, brown and black. The color was choosen to match the brick driveway pavers.

In Florida the garage floor color choice is either tomatch the driveway or interior tiles. Travertine tile, a light colored interior tile common in Florida is
  frequently matched with Saddle Tan, a combination of brown, beige, white and black.

The function of One Day Floors “Pure Bred” Polyaspartics are unmatched in Florida where the concrete is typically soft. Soft concrete is very porous and subject to a large amount of moisture vapor transmission which will delaminate most coatings.

Due to the “wetting” capabilities, Pure Bred Polyaspartics  absorb into the concrete becoming one with the concrete.

This floor came out beautifully, seamless, durable and easy to keep clean. If you notice the garage has 5 inch baseboard trim. The finished floor makes for the final touch, the “piece de resitance” for this Marina Gardens Townhouse.
